The plotter for ultrasonic slitting is intended for automatic cutting and bonding (welding) of thermoplastic materials with ultrasonic energy.
The plotter is very convenient and designed for slitting details made of three layers of plastic materials: cotton, non-woven wool, polyester, and cotton with polyester. The details are slit in the preset shape and in the same time the cut ends are bonded to be ready for the next operation. The ultrasonic slitting process prevents the knitted, woven and non-woven materials from unraveling by bonding the cut ends, using ultrasonic energy. The cut detail is not separated into layers and the layers are fixed to one another when sewing, which makes the process technological.
For increasing plotter's productivity, there are two ultrasonic slitters installed, for processing two details at the same time.
