Brazing with Current of High Frequency

Индукционно спояване (Brazing)
brazingWelding with hard braze is a process where two or more materials are joined to each other through a filling material (braze) which has a lower melting point than the materials. When melted, the braze fills the gaps and welds the materials one to another. The most effective and cleanest method of brazing relies on induction heating. The metal parts are put into an electromagnetic field, heated up to the braze (the additional material) melting point, which fills the gaps between the welded parts. After melting the braze, an additional amount of it may be added, if it is necessary.
Welding through a HF current is applicable to metals only. The magnetic materials heat up a lot faster than non-magnetic. When ceramic, or non-conductive material is welded, the heating is performed indirectly, through the metal parts, to which it is being welded.
The welded parts are put in an appropriate to the purpose inductor, so the magnetic field to be able to heat the melting parts to the melting point of the braze.
